Ready to become a confident and capable babysitter? This hands-on class covers everything you need to know to start babysitting safely and responsibly.
Participants will learn how to respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid for common childhood injuries and illnesses, and create a safe environment through household safety practices. We'll also cover the fundamentals of childcare, including choosing age-appropriate games and activities, preventing accidents, and preparing for babysitting jobs.
By the end of the class, you'll feel ready to interview for babysitting positions and care for children with confidence. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion, first aid instructions, a babysitter checklist, and CPR certification.
