Framingham's own Special Olympics Program, the MetroWest Flyers, will be fielding a Bowling Team this Winter!!
The Special Olympics provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, prepare for entry into school and community programs, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
The MetroWest Flyers Bowling Team is designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities aged 8 and up.  This opportunity will help your athlete build a sense of community, make lifelong friends, and promote healthy activities in a fun, friendly, and competitive environment.
 
 
The MetroWest Flyers Bowling Team will practice on Sunday’s, from 4:00pm – 5:00pm on January 11, 18, 25, February 1, 18, March 1, 8, 15, 22.  at the Ryan’s Family Amusements Bowling Center, 1170 Main Street, Millis MA 02054
There will be a competition to end the season.  More information TBD
