Class starts off with a warm up. Students are taught various locomotor skills which include walking, marching, jumping,hopping, sliding, cross overs, galloping, skipping, running and walking backwards.
Music is used by the instructor as a prompt or cue during the warm-up activity.
We will then do a main activity which the focus will be on bilateral coordination, spatial awareness, eye tracking, balance, eye-hand coordination,eye-foot coordination and more.
These activities are individually designed for a wide range of students with varying disabilities. Adapted Physical Education equipment is used to complement the lesson. Cool down and review, follow each lesson.
