Develop games
This program introduces foundational computing skills transitioning from block coding to text-based programming with Python. Participants will learn essential concepts such as variables, loops, and functions. They will apply these skills to create artwork, simulations, and interactive games like Bounce! and Race. The class emphasizes programming principles through practical examples and integrates unplugged activities to reinforce learning. This introductory course sets the stage for tackling more complex programming challenges in future projects.

PLEASE NOTE
This program requires each registrant to bring a personal laptop in order to participate.  (all types of laptops can be used, including chromebooks)

If a student is not able to bring a personal laptop, they can still attend!  We have arranged for students to rent a laptop, for a modest fee, to be used during class, for the duration of the program.  **PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER FOR "LAPTOP RENTAL" IF YOU NEED TO RENT A LAPTOP**

Students who show up to class without a laptop will not be allowed to participate.  Due to contractual obligations, refunds will not be given.
