School teaches you a lot—but what about life after school?
This program helps middle and high school students learn important information school doesn’t always have time to explain. Like how paychecks work, why taxes exist, what it really costs to live on your own, and how big things like cars, rent, and mortgages actually affect your money.
Through hands-on activities, real-world examples, and interactive discussions, students get a chance to “practice” adulthood before they’re thrown into it. You’ll learn how to budget your money, understand jobs and income, plan for expenses, and make smarter choices about spending and saving.
By the end of the program, students feel more confident, more prepared, and less confused about money and adult responsibilities. It’s all about learning how to take control of your future, one smart decision at a time.
Class will be held at the Academy Bldg. in Cushing Memorial Park.
Please enter Cushing Park through Keefe Tech parking lot at 750 Winter Street, take an immediate left and follow signs to Academy Building (first brick building).
